this is the day

Not only is this the day that the Lord has made, but it's the day i begin blogging. Yes, I never quite thought this day would come.  I don't have any great wisdom to share, much less any reason to blog at all.  However, I do have a fairly uneventful summer job which gives me lots of time at a desk with a computer. Even though it means waking up early and working most days, summer is still my favorite time of the year.  Here are a few reasons why:

                                    quality time with the sister, not to mention amazing sundresses

the fourth of July, followed only by my birthday

and, of course, Guatemala :)

So...here's to high hopes and great expectations summer of 2011.  Don't let me down.
